Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Crontinel (app.crontinel.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Crontinel on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. The Service

Crontinel provides background job and cron monitoring for Laravel applications. The service includes a hosted dashboard, an ingest API, alerting, and a PHP monitoring package available under the MIT licence.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will attempt to notify you by email for significant changes.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Crontinel.
  • One person or legal entity may maintain multiple accounts, but accounts may not be shared between unaffiliated parties.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to monitor applications you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond normal use.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

5. Free trial and billing

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan. No credit card is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, your account downgrades to the Free plan unless you subscribe.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in USD. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused periods.

If your payment fails, we will attempt to charge again. After repeated failures we will notify you and may suspend paid features.

6. Plan limits

Each plan has limits on the number of apps, monitors, organization members, and data retention. These limits are shown on the pricing page. Exceeding limits will prompt an upgrade; we will not silently charge you for overages.

7. Data ownership

You own your monitoring data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over data you send to Crontinel. You can export or delete your data at any time.

8. Uptime and liability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Crontinel is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Crontinel is a monitoring tool - we are not liable for events that occur in your application that our service failed to detect due to outages or bugs.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Upon termination, your data is queued for deletion and purged within 30 days.

10. Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making material changes to these terms. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
